Support meets strategy

Mauricio has a hybrid role at LeftBrain — mornings as an IT Systems and Operations Engineer on the frontline, afternoons as a Strategist looking after the bigger picture for clients. Half his day is spent solving support tickets, from network outages to phishing attacks, so clients always have a real person to rely on rather than a bot; the other half goes into keeping each client’s technology smooth and secure and building out roadmaps. His background blends IT support with video production, coordinating remote teams of developers and designers, and agile training — but the biggest lesson has come from helping every kind of person, from barristers to first-time online shoppers, which taught him that patience and empowering people matter just as much as the technical fix.
